Dr. Tour, you are a truly remarkable man.
Thank you for sharing your Bible studies and your scientific insights publicly.

Though Jesus has chosen the foolish to humiliate the wise, you do immense honor to His body when you use your powerful and well trained mind to honor and glorify Him.

Fear of the Lord is most important to follow his will. LIke Jesus, even he is the first and he is also the last, he have fear in the Lord God, his Father. Because Jesus know also what his Father want.
Like the scripture said: Heb 10:38  Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
That is why fear is important, fear with respect.

He will be the sure foundation...a rich store of salvation, ...wisdom...knowledge. ...fear of the Lord is the key... to this treasure.

. It's NOT a Walmart, its a rich store. Take the key FEAR & open that door. Sit among the jewels & treasure, there're jewels that are in His word that fight infection, lonliness, painkiller... found in the verses of His word. Job has helped millions. Verses throughout the word help and even give joy.

Yes, i wondered about the Lion eating straw and about what change it would take to go from eating meat to eating straw. Dr. Tour is the first I've heard mention it. Bears actually do a good bit of grazing now.

In creation we find the many songs written by God that embraces His relationship and ours to Him.

There have been throughout history lions put on vegetarian diet - not grazing, mind you. They did very well. Their digestive system adapted and their behavior changed remarkably.

"The fear of the Lord was his delight"... "They came to him and said, “Teacher, we know that you are a man of integrity. You aren’t swayed by others, because you pay no attention to who they are; but you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth." The word integrity comes from "integer." It cannot be changed. If you ad trillionth to an integer it is no longer an integer. Integrity is the absolute bond with God through complete reverence "fear of God." The bond that cannot be corrupted by the criticism or flattery of man. (There is much to say about Jesus and integrity)

Peace be with you.
Jesus said:
Joh 15:22  If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.
And Jesus said:
Joh 17:3  And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
And Jesus said again:
Joh 16:9  Of sin, because they believe not on me;

In the New Testament it says that "Perfect love casts out fear" and yet here we hear that the Fear of God is a good thing. So obviously "fear" in this case means more like reverence for God or the acknowledgment of his supreme power. God doesn't want us cowering and terrified of him all the time

It just occurred to me that epigenetics could be the answer. Epigenetic changes are quite powerful. Could they be how the animals, and man, were changed by God? Possibly plants were changed also?

Strangely enough, a lioness called Little Tyke (1946-1955) behaved like in the prophecy of Isaiah 11:6. See: "Little Tyke: True Story of a Gentle Vegetarian Lioness".

There isn't a "fossil record " . If there is questions with the origins of life, there are major questions with evolution.

The Lions will be like horses again. Remember before the flood all the animals were not meat eaters. After the flood, God changed them. Genesis ha# a lot of secrets.

Thanks Dr James, but there is so much misunderstanding whenever Hebrew symbolism is used but Greek-Roman understanding applied.

Look at the horse to understand: horses put on muscle simply by eating grass, and at different times of day grass has either sugar or protein. Isn't that interesting? So when all the animals on the ark were eating, they were eating grass and plants and milk. They weren't meat eating until they exited the ark. Man became a meat eater after the fall. Before the fall, they ate of the garden.
