I'm going to guess the "open these together" note was suggesting that due to the smaller pack size. If you opened both at once that'd be close to the same as a modern pack size. Maybe that was intended for if you used them in a Chaos draft?

Back in the day, I got a whole bunch of Fallen Empires packs during a school carnival and managed to hit 4 copies of Hymn to Tourach and 4 copies of Order of the Ebon Hand. Called it good there.

I'm running Icathian Moneychanger in my Felisa EDH deck and it's actually really good. Turns out that all it needed to be playable was to have "when this creature dies create 3 2/1 flyers"

Icatian Javelineers was playable. I ran it briefly it a pauper deck.

It's funny because the name Gary actually means "spear." Appropriate for a Javelineer.

My line of reasoning for Thelonite Druid making them 2/3s is because Two Three sounds kinda like Trees.

If you proliferate Gary, he could throw 2 Javelins. Its not his job to carry multiple Javelins, it is the army commanders job to provide its best Javelin Thrower with an adequate amount of Javelins to throw

Yeah I've suggested this before but maybe you can display the card image on the side when Graham are talking about the cards. It's quite tedious to pause and unpause constantly.
