What happens if you pour too fast or too slow with 464 soy wax?
I pour 464 soy wax really fast and really slow to see what the difference will be and not surprising, nothing happened. See the video for details.

If you have any questions please leave a comment or feel free to contact me at anytime. I am more than happy to help in any way that I can.

I’m fairly new to this, been experimenting with a few things. How much CandleScience dye do you suggest adding to 1lb of this wax?

I used about a full dropper of black dye and the color turned out to be a medium-ish grey instead of black once it was cooled.

Hi there. Just a quick one. Can you maybe do a video focusing more on consistency with maintaining hot throw and the right temps to add FO with 464? Really struggle with getting hot throw on this one. Any help will be appreciated. Cheers!!

I am very confused when measuring temperature on wax. I haven’t been able to get a nice scent throw even trying with different waxes, fragrances, wicks so I thought that my dial thermometer may not be working properly so I got a digital one. I am very surprised that the two thermometers show different temperatures with a difference of 10-15 degrees but when I tested both thermometers on hot water they measure the same temperature so I just wonder why I have inaccurate temperature on waxes.

What are your thoughts on using beeswax for candles?

Do you typically pour your candles at 180 degrees? I use 464 and heat to 185, add FO at 185 and pour at 150. I pour as slow as possible most times but am now experiencing lots of sink holes/bubbles. This is new to me. Do you heat up jars at all "any time of the year" that your make candles?

With the 464 I notice that the outside hardens the fastest and the bottom and in the middle takes a little longer. Also since the middle doesn’t harden as fast as the bottom and outside I can see wax stuck to the candle wicks how do I prevent this ?
