Grandstream GXP2170 Unboxing | VoIP Supply

Hi, I’m Mary Cheney, Marketing Supervisor here at VoIP Supply. Today I’m going to be unboxing Grandstreams newly released GXP2170, so lets take a look!

Okay, so, on the back we have a handset port, a headset port, a power adaptor, our network port, our PC port, and an optional sidecar port.

So now that we’ve looked at the back of the phone, lets put it together. And, we will start with our desk mount. Easily slides right in. Lets hook up our handset. And, here at the VoIP Supply Lab we have power over our Eithernet so we wont be needing the power adaptor, but you have that option if you need it.

So now that we have the Grandstreams GXP2170 powered on, you can see that it has a nice, bright four point three inch LCD screen, we have twelve line buttons, six on each side. We also have our icon keys, so you’ve got Conference calling, Voicemail, and Do Not Disturb to name a few.

We also have some preloaded features, so you’ve got the weather, which is not so nice here in Buffalo, and currency. And, to get back to that screen you can just hit that button again. And this is just another really great release from Grandstream Networks.

If you never allow the phone to auto load FW from Grandstream and pre-test every release before allowing updates, the 2170/2135 is great. STILL the best phone for the dollar. A much nicer choice than the newer line of GS phones (Yealink knockoff cheapies) - the 'carrier grade' phones :(.
