My favorite dining chair hack: Do a table that just fits the family, even if it's just a small round for two. Do a larger drop leaf table as a sideboard, behind a couch, wherever. Chiavari chairs are stackable, so stack a dozen or so in a closet for entertaining. By far the easiest way of getting rid of the giant table with eight chairs for a family of four.

More importantly, no more sad folding chairs for larger parties. Chiavari chairs are shockingly affordable, and look super elegant for entertaining. If you need something more modern, do them in white or clear.

Another fantastic tool on Amazon that I use, quite a bit, is the photo finder. When I find something that I like the design on but not the price I screenshot the item and upload it into Amazon search and it brings up similar items to what I screenshot at much lower price. I even do this with clothes.
