Finishing Mistborn with Hero of Ages in December, also on my TBR is Thunderhead, Storm of Swords and Fellowship of the Ring. Great channel Merphy.

I was going to read “Lord of the Rings” next month too! I read “The Hobbit” in September and really didn’t like it, so I’m hoping that changed with LOTR. And yay, “Pride and Prejudice!!!!” First time reading it for me. Super excited!!

I read “Lies of Locke Lamora” based on the good review you and Daniel have each given it, so to have a book out there that combines that with possibly my favorite Timothy Hutton project is well worth a read for me. I will also be adopting the re-read month approach.

Re-reading books you love during December IS THE BEST THING EVER! But this December I'm planning on reading LOTR and Narnia for the first time :D And maybe starting The Lies of Locke Lamora if I have time.

Yes, Peter Pan is my favourite fairy tale as well! ❤ Can't wait to watch your video about it. There are so many things to say and I'd LOVE to get the edition you showed us! I'm glad to see that you're reading classics (I just found your channel), I love reading books for the writing style as much as for the story.

Here are the books I'm reading and might finish in December:
Dracula - Bram Stoker
Erotokritos - Vitzentzos Cornaros (my husband's Greek and I try reading more and more classics. This is kind of the Greek Romeo and Juliet but better)
Le ventre de Paris (The Belly of Paris) - Emile Zola (I haven't really got into it yet and preferred the two first ones The Fortune of the Rougons and The Kill, but I intend to read every single ones -- he's a famous French writer and his writings are incredibly beautiful, meaningful and clever)
And a non-fiction which is called A Worldwide Illustrated History of Pirates: Terror on the High Seas From the Caribbean To The South China Sea that I found for 60 cents at a second-hand store, what! I love rich encyclopedic history with pictures, paintings, artefacts. I'm hooked.

The books I'm intending to read:
You make me want to reread Peter Pan, but I want to dive into new books! And then you mentioned Pride and Prejudice that I've had on my shelves for ages but never read. :0 And LOTR, gosh, they don't seem so frightening when I look at your small books, but I have a three-in-one edition that I cannot put in my purse. .__.

PS: You have my dream job (even though I'm studying translation and love it), but I'm not comfortable/articulate enough in front of a camera. I could, on the other hand, listen to you for hours; you're a natural!

I'm not making a TBR for December. I'll be busy creating a magazine, writing a thesis, and (hopefully) continuing my own novel. I'll certainly read something, but I have no plans in particular.
