I know the sound quality isn't as good as usual. That's because in this video I spoke with my normal voice and my microphone doesn't really pick up louder noises. I didn't want to be inauthentic and the sound isn't too bad (I think).

I am going to buy a new microphone next week so this will hopefully be the last time I've got bad audio quality.

I've been hesitant about donating to YouTubers on patreon, but seems how your channel is one of my favorite history channels on the platform and that there's no ads/sponsorships, I will make it happen once I get some stuff paid off. I just found your channel recently and really like your approach and transparency. Also I enjoy the long-form videos. But the main reason I like your channel is your in-depth explanations of history that isn't completely eurocentric. I like being able to find a wide breadth of actual WORLD history in one place.

I didn't get to say this in the survey but:
I would suggest doing video series on the same topic, and adding that to a single playlist that can be searched for, similar to Extra Credits. It works really well and means you can cover a topic in as much depth as you like without wild video length variability throwing the algorithm off.

You should take ads on videos longer than 20 minutes or so. If it’s that long an ad is ok
