WoW Rare Garrison Mission Guide - How To Unlock Them On All Characters! - Gold Guide

In this video, I go the patch 6.2 rare garrison missions and what requirements you need to meet to unlock them. I also explain a variety of ways you can unlock those requirements.

Hey madseason!

Great video as always! There's some stuff worth considering about gearing up your character:

Patch 6.2.3 added new (item level 715!) heirloom trinkets that drop from mythic dungeons. These a chance of dropping from any mythic dungeon boss, and seem to have a 5-10% drop rate going by Wowhead comments. Once you have one, it unlocks account-wide like every other heirloom, and you can actually make two of the same trinket on every alt for two easy trinkets with a 715 item level. (Kazzak trinkets are 705, so this isn't huge, but it helps.)

If you end up buying any pieces of baleful gear, I would prioritize the shoulders. Every other slot has a piece available from Timewalking dungeons. Also watch out for the account-bound tokens available in Savage Satchels of Cooperation, and from your naval missions.

Here's a list of the Timewalking events to watch out for when you want pieces of gear (sorted by piece):

Helm: BC
Neck: Wrath
(No Shoulders)
Cloak: BC
Chest: Wrath, Cata
Bracers: Cata

Gloves: Wrath
Belt: BC, Cata
Legs: Burning Crusade
Boots: Wrath
Rings: Wrath, Cata
Trinkets: Wrath, BC

Also note that even though you may only have one trinket available for your spec, the gear for other specs is still available, so you can buy two trinkets or two rings from the Timewalking vendor even if you only plan to use one, just for the item level boost to your character.

good video man. I was curious, I have 8 followers @675 and counting, and a level 3 Dwarven Bunker. Is there any other reason to go past 675 for follower ilvl? or is 675 the max for unlocking anything follower mission-wise?

Hello Madseason_show love your guide alot and just got everything I need to unlock the rare missions but they dont show up so I wonder if there are anything else you need to unlock them like garrison lvl 3 or something?

Hello madseason, today I got the "Blingtron's Secret Vault" mission on my garrison looking in wowhead it says it's a rare mission, but I have only 2 followers ilvl 675 and only 3 645+ what could happened?

i got a problem with that vid. on my main i got 25 followers. all of them are max ilvl
my self got 720ilvl. and yet i never had those missoins beside the exp potion. what am i doing worng?
