KID-FRIENDLY WEIGHT
The woom 4 and woom 5 are the LIGHTEST 20” and 24” bikes sold in America. The woom 4 is just over 16 lbs, while the woom 5 is just over 18.

KID-FRIENDLY GEOMETRY
Woom bikes are 100% focused on kids’ smaller bodies and built to accommodate the everyday, all-around child rider. As a pioneer in designing bike geometry specifically for kids, woom helped blaze the trail for better kids bikes, and should be credited with popularizing kid-friendly bike geometry in the US. Cheap kids bikes are built with mass produced parts and can’t be fully customized.

*Low Center of Gravity*
The woom 4 and 5 have a lower center of gravity, which means the child is lower to the ground, resulting in a bike that is more stable and easier to balance.
*Easy to Pedal*
Number 1… with narrower crank arms, the pedals are closer together than your average bike. This places a child’s feet closer together and more aligned with their hips. This allows a child to pedal more efficiently by pushing directly down on the pedal, rather than splayed out at an angle.
Number 2… the geometry of the bike produces an optimal knee bend while pedaling. In a nutshell, your child’s knee won’t come up as high as it would on a cheaper bike. Knees that are too high makes pushing down on the pedals much harder.
*Body Position*
To top it all off, the woom 4 and 5 frame designs and handlebar placement put the rider in a semi-upright position with plenty of room in the cockpit. This position is the most natural and comfortable position for your average child rider.

*Brakes*

I took my 3 year old daughter to the bike store looking for something lighter, because she struggled alot with balancing on cheaper brands with heavier frames. She jumped on Woom 3 and literally rode the bike put of the store! 👌 Fantastic bikes and super light, which means incredibly easy to learn.

I can absolutely recommend woom series for everyone who looks for children's frist bike!

I bought my daughter the Cleary hedgehog when she was 3. She’s 5 now but I won’t size her up until shes ready for the 24 inch tire. The price tag of Woom is just too high to keep up with their line of bikes. I will say their bikes hold their value well. If I were to buy the Woom 5 I could easily sell it on Facebook for $350-400. So it’s not a complete loss and my kid would definitely enjoy it for a few years. Nice review

Stop this bull shit. Woom 4 without suspension fork is the same weight s as my daughter’s Specialized HotRock 20 with it. Woom is overpriced falsely advertised bike
