It's a shame that Hogan changed so much in the company that when Rhodes and Bully tried a blade job during the match (which was always done beforehand), they ended up getting fired days later.

On the WCW Main Event pre-show, the following matches occurred:

1.Alex Wright defeated Mark Starr

2.Steve Austin defeated Tim Horner

3.Stars & Stripes defeated The Stud Stable (with Col. Robert Parker)

The only positive to the King of the Road Match is that it got us Goldust

The irony of this whole mess is WCW was trying to copy the ECW style, but then they fired Dustin for blading.

It was really Vince Russo like Booking a lot for stipulation matches. When you know how hogan worked well with Giants in 1980s it a shame hé didnt have a good feud or good matches with vader.

Crap show. Nasty Boys vs Harlem Heat was more entertaining than you gave credit to. IMO
Of course Sting carried someone to a good match.
❓ though how can a match end in DQ when the tag line says no rules???
