I have to admit, that Fendt is a damn fine looking machine

The fendt may have triples on the rear and doubles on the front, but you have to acknowledge that the tread on the tires looks way more aggressive than the track tread on the JD. Also, if I’m correct, the tracks are meant for better float and not necessarily digging into the ground for more traction. Still fun to watch no doubt.

Seeing two tractor drivers trying pull each other off is a rather mesmerising watch, look at you tugging on each other as hard as you can, if only we had cab audio to properly hear all the action!!!

The fendt was clearly going to win from the start, it comes down to mass and ground pressure, both on the fendt side. I don’t understand how people don’t understand this

Caterpillar had the tract-type tractors B4 I retired in 2004. Local Missouri and Illinois farmers took a wait-and-see attitude. Looks like the tract-type tractors are doing a good job.

We usually pull the deeres from the front but whatever works to get the broken crap to the garage.
