I never realized it at the time, but, letting go of the toxic relationship was the best thing for me. At the time I felt low and alone, but I had to wake up and realize that he was controlling me and my emotions like I was on a leash. The words, "somethings got me down, what's happening to me" really get me. During the relationship, I was always down because I was being hurt over and over again. After it, I was hurt because I thought it was my fault it had to come to a close. I never knew what was causing me hurt. Even in my time of healing, I was still hurting, I didn't know why. How to get over a losing them?
You never truly do a part of them will always remain inside your heart, the way they smiled the best moments you can replace but you gotta do whats best for you and if its toxic, to much or doesnt feel worth it anymore then you need to let go. Time heals slowly and one day far from now their gonna pop up in you mind and it wont hurt anymore.
