They have ruined Tim's life. Everyone who decided to arrest and convict him based on such a shocking lack of evidence should be ashamed of themselves.

coroner: in my professional opinion, only someone with extensive medical knowledge could have done this
police: cool cool cool cool cool so we think it's this 15 year old high schooler who most certainly has no medical knowledge whatsoever

Wait you mean someone in power had decided this poor 15 year old child murder someone with no evidence just cause the kid was weird. The poor human spend 10 years in jail for a crime he didn't commit and the only people who really has to pay for this is the tax payers... That really does describe

A 15 year old boy performed a female circumcision w medical perfection and was given up by his dad. Poor kid man....

That poor kid, he lost all the chances to be a normal person because a grow ass man decided he was guilty of murder for being himself. Tim wasn't weird, he was just a kid, I mean hell I make similar art and love knives too, it doesn't make you a murderer. I hope he can rebuild his life the best he can after losing so many years locked up and alone, it's such a disgusting case of mis justice

I wish I could say that I’m shocked that the police manipulated, planted and lost evidence but I’m not.

Tim’s father helped ruin his life and I would never be able to forgive him if I were Tim.

The fact that he drew horror scenes was used as evidence is ridiculous. It’s scary that a teen can be convicted because they like drawing horror

He deserves every penny of that 10 million. Imagine being accused of a vicious murder that you didn’t commit and then having to spend some of the best years of your life prison! I would be fuming 😤 Poor bloke. Poor Peggy.

I wonder what Tim’s dad thinks about his decision to tell the police.

I think it was the doc across the street. Although, with such detailed records he kept, there would have been a mention of that crime.
It's tragic what happened to Timothy as well. Hard to believe how some of these cops and detectives sleep at night.
As a side note, the bracelet. If Peggy was a drinker, which it seems she went out a lot, but maybe wasn't a heavy or frequent user(?), than "losing" her bracelet and then finding it later is something common with alcohol users. I can see her not reporting it found.
Just some thoughts. Great video, a truly frustrating case.

It's never a mannequin. I am kind of surprised at how often people start with that assumption. I'm in my mid-fifties, and I've never yet seen a mannequin thrown out in some random field, rubbish pile or alleyway.

I live in the region where Peggy was killed. It was a big deal when Mr. Masters was exonerated for the crime. I am adamant that he was convicted based on his artwork and not any physical evidence. It’s frustrating how they focused only on him instead of other possible suspects. I have a feeling that the deceased eye doctor could be a possible person of interest.

Wow... his dad and law enforcement entirely destroyed his life

I feel so bad for Tim. I couldn't even imagine what it's like to have the police, the media and a jury believe that you are a disgusting killer/mutilater based on drawings. I'm a 25 year old woman and when I was a teenager (12yo-16yo) I LOVED drawing knives, guns and swords even though I've never even killed an animal and never would. This case is so upsetting. Apparently being a bit of a strange kid is evidence of a killer 😒 and based on his drawings, he isn't meticulous enough to mutilate with such precision.

Poor Tim. This investigation reminds me a little bit of the West Memphis 3 case. A violent crime occurs. The police overlook all logical evidence and try desperately to pin it on the "weird creepy kid" from the neighborhood because he lives nearby. They ignore all other logic and evidence to get that conviction, which is eventually overturned, and leaves them looking like idiots because now they've wasted so much time they'll almost certainly never find who actually committed the crime. Its so sad all around.

I am very surprised that a jury found the kid guilty. They tried to tell the jury because of his artwork he had the skills to remove those body parts. Looking at his pictures he is definitely not an artist, just a boy doing some doodling.

At no point did they look at Tim's father? Who accused Tim in the first place? At no point did they think maybe kid draws violent things cause his dad's violent? How'd Tim's mom die? And all the stuff about Tim being able to see the body from his house applies to the dad too.

When I was 15 I barely knew which was called what and the workings of my lady parts— there’s no way a 15 yr old boy would know a girl’s genitalia more to perform a surgical circumcision so for the jury to believe Tim did that is utterly ridiculous

I love how respectful you are to everyone equally! So many people judge others and I've had so much backlash defending an addict or someone like Peggy that just has a complicated life.
