A regular season machine, however Harden tends to fall off in the playoffs. How bad is he actually?

Fun Fact: Of his 15 playoff campaigns, he is the All time NBA record holder, of had the most games of Under 20% from the field.

Harden is the guy that can send you to the playoffs but once in there you should send him to the bench 😅

I've always disliked JH's game. I know he is great BUT his inconsistency is maddening. Excellent breakdown of his checkered career.

Harden was pretty bad after he traded himself to 76ers. He had one best game and many bad games in the last playoffs, so 76ers was luckily to let him gone .

James Harden turns into Jim Harden in the playoffs

If you can’t perform at a high level in the playoffs, regular season and finals you shouldn’t be in the fall of fame. You supposed to be able to perform at a high level on all stages

As a rockets fan.. Harden is not someone you build around. He disappears in big games.

Losing doesn't bother James. After the finals loss in Miami, James was at the strip club. After playoff losses on Houston, he was at the strip club. He quit on 3 teams also.

Harden is always a hit or miss player in the playoff here's good sometimes but he will disappear in a big game at the wrong time I'm a big fan of him but he's just really bad in big games he only had 7pts in game 5

Jersey in the thumbnail is literally all his teams without even trying to be

You mean big playoffs games that count, maybe. But he’s averaging like 25 a game in the playoffs for his career

I mean hey he’s won multiple championships (In the strip club so many as a matter of fact his jersey is retired there) The true MVP (Most Valuable Payer)

Lmao "plummets to 58% TS" Like that's still not WELL above average 😂😂😂 no shit your win rate & TS% are gonna decline in the playoffs, that's true for almost every player outside of LeBron & Kawhi. He averages almost 28ppg on 58% TS in the playoffs since he went to Houston, which is better than everyone in the NBA in that same span aside from maybe 4-5 guys

Funny you don't mention how almsot every team he has lost to were favorites in their respective series or than almsot every one his stars get injured during the playoffs or the fact that he played well in the playoffs the last 4-5 years.

Paul Georges Press Conference Interview after they got eliminated prolly sums up the Mindset of a lot of players like Harden, George etc at this point they prolly dont even care.

At least the likes of Embiid and Kawhi care. They just cant stay healthy to save themselves

Hardens stats drop in the playoffs so what lol that should surprise no one since most superstars numbers decline in the playoffs in both efficiency and points and he was still able to perform at all nba levels during his prime in the playoffs

you are leaving context? All the series harden lost he was never favored and play better teams every year with little talent compared to the opponents. How did he choke against the lakers? When he was doubled on every possession with no center and his co star is being left wide open on every possession. He had one bad game the entire series and he averaged 29 . In 2019 he was the sole reason why the rockets even with to game 6 despite cp3 and capela declined in the playoffs. His team choked and yes he had terrible shot selections but the rockets played style was to jack up threes and no midrange without their second best player. Why is one player expected to keep up with a superteam with two top 5 players on one team?
