Hello there. On 28 March, we received an order by the Bank of Italy, outlining key areas of improvement in Anti-Money-Laundering in our Italian branch.

The order also requested a temporary pause for onboarding of new customers through our Italian branch.

We are working with the regulator to address the areas of improvement, but the pause of our onboarding activities means that we will not be able to acquire new customers in the coming months.

This does not affect existing N26 customers in any way and we hope to be able to offer new accounts in Italy as soon as possible.

n26 Brazil is shameful. They didn't listen to their customers and focused only on Spaces and everything was very limited.
