As an IT Pro I use it pretty much daily and when creating documentation.

Greenshot is another alternative but I've been happy with ShareX.

It's my go to screen capture tool for Windows and it's now available for Mac as well! I probably use ShareX 40 - 50 times a day. Hope you like it as much as I do. I also suggested a change to allow the step numbers (I) to allow starting the sequence from Zero (0) and not One (1) and they implemented the change into prod within a month :-) Thanks ShareX team you are fantastic.

I agree. ShareX is amazing. Linux doesn't have anything even remotely close to it.

Hi Chris, great video as always! That being said, I have a question: do you know of any good alternatives for Linux, namely that can upload images to a custom server? Flameshot is great, but I don't want to upload to imgur, I want to upload to a private server. Any suggestions?
