It's a damn shame DMC 4 was rushed. You can tell we were supposed to get more fights with Credo. He was clearly meant to be Nero's Vergil.

Fun fact: When battling Credo at Bloody Palace, if you finish him using Devil Bringer while in Devil Trigger, there's a special animation for Nero. After the buster animation ends and if you don't press any buttons, Credo will whisper "Nero...", and Nero will respond by avoiding looking at him as he dies, with a look of regret in his face

DMC5 made me want a fully finished DMC4 even more, like come on, Credo played a part in Nero's Awakening, he deserved better than just ONE boss fight

The fact Nero’s arm can block rebellion, credos blade, and maybe the Yamato given the chance, I have concluded…

The ability “royal guard” is in the gene pool, it skip a generation, but only for Vergil, so Nero’s arm allows a minor royal guard

Pro tip: when he throws the first 2 spears lock on and devil grip away the first 2, release lock on and devil buster the 3rd, quickly relock and throw it back...does a fuck ton of damage and boosts stylish rank big time. Also stuns him

I checked every battle from other gameplay users from playing as Nero to Credo. To my surprise, almost all players who have their own battles with Kyrie's brother haven't been grabbing Credo's spears with Nero's devil bringer arm and would throw it back. Who'd've thunk that the devil bringer has many secrets or the game letting you do as you want.
