Parrot Skycontroller 2 review

The parrot skycontroller 2 review. In comparison to the 1st skycontroller this one is much more compact allowing me to pack it easier when touring on my motorcycle . The parrot bebop 2 can be flown only with the mobile phone and does not need a separate controller, however the range is not all that great. Thus I have decided to purchase the new skycontroller 2 because it is more compact and portable than its predecessor . I Did a small range test and already I can see the difference, much, much better doubling the distance with ease so I would definitely recommend. I will be posting more videos as I get used to pushing it more to the limits. Thank you for watching and enjoy.

I completely agree with your comments. It's biggest advantages over larger more pricey drones or even the new Mavic Pro are - portability, robustness, flawless software. Having said that, I've had to replace my lens after a year of crashes. Two weeks thereafter a few stunning flights in Cape Town, but then smashed the lens after a high altitude drop after getting it entangled in a kite string in Jakarta. Getting a new one tomorrow and your experience with the new sky controller has convinced me not to steer to another brand.

amazing video and review. Really informative. quick question if you are flying it and lose your bearings and you are not sure how to get it back, is there a return home button to have it comeback before you lose complete sight of it. Or unable to find your way back even using the camera. Also does it also record sound? It sounded really quiet too. thks :) Also Subscribed to your channel. Will Defintely share.

I have the new Bebop 2 FPV package. I'm a bit disappointed that the SC2 does NOT have an HDMI port for aftermarket goggles. I personally don't care for the included goggle package (using my smartphone). I want to use Fat Sharks or equivalent. How do you feel about this?

Have u had problems getting the battery to charge? The original won't charge at all and the replacement battery only charges up to 35 percent. It will charger the skycontroller 2 no problem. Even when the charger shows green it's still only around 35 percent. Just wondering if you had come across this problem and had a solution.. Love the videos they are great. Unfortunately I can only fly for about 6 mins before its dead. 😔

Will the Skycontroller 2 mobile-device holder adjust to fit an iPad Air 2? I use my iPad for other drones, and would like to use it for the Bebop 2 also. Thanks

Just wondering, will the skycontroller 2 work with my Parrot bebop 2 drone? It came with a skycontroller (one I assume) in the box, but the thing is I'm going overseas in a couple of weeks and that thing is WAY too bulky. Found a sky controller 2 on ebay, but I'm not willing to risk the $400 or so the guy is asking, if it wont work with my drone... Cheers.
