That pass from Finn Russell and Huw Jones hitting it at pace remains one of the most beautiful things I have seen in sport. The more you watch it the better it gets.

Most iconic rugby try in my lifetime will always be the semi final try new Zealand v england. Jonah lomu running over mike catt. I was 8 years old when I watched that world Cup. The day after that try I begged my dad to take me to the local rugby club. Been watching it ever since. Watch rugby league two both 2 amazing sports and Jonah was the biggest star of them all. Rip big man will forever be my hero

The team try by France is the peak in my opinion, embodiment of teamwork and the vision of the fullback (nos 15), possession play!

Some great memories...Japan’s try against SA was spine-tingling and Lomu’s one was just awe-inspiring

Okay. I can admit after watching this, football does not compare.

The arm locks, the cheerleader lift ups for the pass from outside the field, the constant plays. I mean I’ve never seen such a team sport filled w this much layers of strategy & athleticism. I wish I knew sooner.

That try from France vs All Blacks makes the hair stand on the back of my neck and I am an All Blacks fan. Last time All Blacks lost at Eden Park and a Series in NZ - 1994.

A word on the Carlos Spencer try vs Crusaders, and correct me if I'm wrong. That was the final minute. Blues were ahead on points. Just needed to hold on and kick it out. Not only did he score that point, but deliberately touched down in the corner and slotted the kick to deprive them of the losing bonus point. This was away against their fiercest rivals. Legend

All those great moments of sport and achievement... unique !
A particular one, I shall never forget : at 5:28 in the USA vs AFS pool match, during the RWC 2007 in France. I was the venue's official commentator, and couldn't believe it when the blazing Ngwenya outsprinted Habana for a 55 meter try. That was a sensation in the whole stadium, even for the staff in our booth ! We nearly forgot to announce it, then suddenly woke up to realise it was for real : someone could actually run faster than "Brian the one".
Aside this particular moment, the whole World cup was a huge pleasure from start to finish. Kind of thing you never can forget and keep in your thoughts for a whole life. I just can't wait for that next one to come.
See you in 2023, you lots !
