Paul Mescal was just amazing in "Aftersun". If it hadn't been such a stacked and strong year for Best Actor at the Oscars this year, I am sure he would have come out the victor but I imagine its only a matter of time, not if, before he will claim that little golden statuette for Best Actor in a Leading Role. What else can be said about Saoirse Ronan that hasn't been said already other than "How is it that she hasn't won an Oscar yet"?

I've read the novel not even knowing there was already a movie made based on the book. I gave the book a 5 stars, but the movie was really good as well, especially when you watch it knowing what the twist is. I highly recommend both the novel and the movie, but start with the book to get the real feeling

Everyone in this movie is gorgeous that's insane but also and more importantly this movie is gonna be SICK the acting, the story, the shots OMG

This movie made absolutely no sense the entire time... until the end. I thought it was pretty terrible until the ending tied everything together. Fantastic writing, glad I didn't give up on it halfway, I almost did a few times!
