OnePlus 13 vs OnePlus 12 Comparison - Wait or Skip?

The new #OnePlus13 has a lot of interesting upgrades over the OnePlus 12. We checked out the Chinese variant to see whether it is worth waiting for the India launch or skip it. Especially for those who already own a OnePlus 12.

As consumers, there should be a movement against large companies like Samsung, OnePlus etc regarding the screen issues, nobody should pay such a large sum of money for a premium device just for the screen to fail . 3 of my colleagues have had to replace their respective Galaxy 23 ultra screens with exactly the same issue, another set of OnePlus users including me faced green line issues on our OnePlus devices which recurred even after replacing the the screen due the same, this is absolutely unacceptable from such high value premium devices, why would anyone pay close to $1000 for such defective devices, the YouTube reviewer community is also to blame for just being mascots for these companies and not really caring about the audience and consumers.

Dynamic island first introduced by Huawei
Actually most of the new tech was introduced by Huawei
But due to US sanction Huawei struggling otherwise Huawei would have been Number 1 mobile brand in the world by now

Design wise OnePlus 13 looks like more like a 13R then the flagship 13, looks like a budget phone around 30k even oppo and vivo are making design more premium. OnePlus is going back in design.

I personally like the design of the OnePlus 12 over the OnePlus 13. The OnePlus 12 looks more premium and stylish compared to the 13. While the OnePlus 13 has the advantage of less curvature on the sides and flat edges, which I appreciate, I still think the OnePlus 12 is far superior in terms of design.

I have OnePlus 12 and for me 13 is not much of an upgrade, I mean overall. Hence, I'll wait for OnePlus 14 in order to make a jump. What I'd like to see is major camera modules upgrade across the board, compared to OnePlus 12, with lesser protrusions of those modules, further better better jump on SoC performance (to 8 Gen3) and features (to Elite). Otherwise, if you have onePlus 11 or lower, 13 is gonna be an awesome phone.

I doubt if Wi-Fi 7 will make it to the Indian unit since I saw news that the PS5 Pro will not be released in India because Wi-Fi 7 6GHz is not open for civilian use.
