They didn't call dino fossils dinosaurs until 1814. They were called dragons. Then you have variants like Komodo dragons with 70 different species dragons on record. These ppl are supposed to be the experts on context and nuances, only when it suits them.

Years ago a group of scientists did a study of cultures and countries with histories that had 'Dragons' and places that had major fossil finds of dinosaurs. They found out both were commonly found together. The more an area had fossils, the more there had long been stories of dragons and vice versa.

Joe is being attacked for having an actual intellectual conversation. The guy he was talking to about dragons talked about how they more than likely would've had hollow birdlike bones and about how those bones generally don't fossilize, so there wouldn't be any evidence other than the stories from so many different cultures.
