Is this kit light enough to take ba ckpacking?

This is a Mokka pot, it basically makes something similar to espresso, which is why it comes with a small cup. An Italian coffee is supposed to be about 30 ml for a single or 60 ml for a double. Check out the Bialetti Mokka Express for the original mokka pot, every Italian has one at home.

Does it heat up the cup? I have a plastic mug that I use when camping, would it melt if I set it under the spout to catch the coffee?
