Why do you need a Google API key for an interactive Google map on your site? Am I missing something? Is there something more to the API key? Because I just added some code from Google maps to put a map on my contact page.

Hi Ferdy, in your video from 06/2017 it took 10sec to get the api key (without billing information).
Does it still work like this or did google change the api registration?
