This brings back memories. 😊 Years ago, with the family at home, if we had a Friday night with nothing planned, it was movie night. Sometimes we ordered in a pizza. Sometimes we had a family favorite, taco salad. That was the one night you could find my late husband in the kitchen. That was a joint production between the two of us. Here is a great trick and helpful hint...when you buy scallions at the store they have a root on the white end of the scallions...DO NOT THROW THAT OUT!! You can put them in a glass of water and that scallion, sure enough will sprout again and you will have all new green scallion sprout

When I do anything with jalapeños, I put gloves on and use my fingers to remove the seeds and ribs. I also rinse them to make sure I get all the seeds.
