Well, first of all, one of the big plusses of this cam is it's small size. Any cam with a swing out screen would just add bulk to the cam. Second of all it does have the reflective button that does act as a mirror. It takes some getting used to, but in the end I can shoot without cutting my own head off.

looks pretty good for the most part, kinda breaks up when you clip the highlights. . this is the first HD video i've actually been able to watch on youtube, every other one the audio goes all crazy.

wow finally a camera thats 150 bucks thats HD, i got a camera for about the same and its 4.0 megapixles but no hd which makes a hell of a diference in quality

That's nice quality. Very good for internet uses. But these HD videos make my frame rate drop to about 3-5fps

This video as I'm watching it now is available in only SD, but it's the best SD I've seen in a long time. Sometimes I really wonder if 1280x720 is worth the trouble. Good SD that works well 100% of the time is better than flaky HD.

If you're refering to which format the videos the camera records are, then they're H.264 .MOV files.

you had to buy it. lol! get the kodak V models or Z model picture cameras. the do have hd quality well low hd 720p. and all for the same price! best kodak from 2007 was the v1253 with stereo mic,

I have a question... how much (time) can the zi6 record on HD60 per gigabyte? I'm wanting to buy a camcorder for a trip I'm taking this summer, and I'm on a tight budget and found the zi6 for 80 bucks, though I also want the flip ultra which is about 120 bucks but it only records 2 hours and I'd need more than that...

I'm impressed by your video though (lol, your dog is so cute, made me smile...) and the zi6 doesn't look bad for it's new price, considering.

I just bought a ZI6 and I'm having trouble uploading the finished films in HD to Youtube. How do you do it? I have a PC and I use Sony Vegas to edit / render the films.

I just got this camera. I wonder what we are suppose to do with HD60. Quicktime & imovie doesn't play it at that rate. It plays it at 30. Is there any software that supports 60 fps? Maybe it is just for hooking up to a TV when you record sports or something fast?
