Someone should mix the last two together. A turret with object tracking capabilities, sounds pretty cool to me.

I love the idea of Nerf Turret. With a specific face detection feature it can be usable. But I would need higher magazine capacity and faster rate of fire. Surely doable.

Great commentary, thanks for featuring my project. My favorites were 6 and 1 but all were pretty cool.

I was thinking, take a kids doll, add the animatronic eyes, and facial following (project #2) .. have head turn via camera as well. Doll that can watch and follow you around the room. Creepy factor 100!

I like the eyes. Could get interesting with your Halloween decorations

I love the CheerLights project with the MKR Wi-Fi boards!

this is awesome don't get me wrong but the seemingly EXTRA amount of DIY feel these projects have is kind of hilarious. like the glasses when the narrator is like "the glasses are neatly soldered" meanwhile it's a scene of a taped up pile of electronics LITERALLY being soldered on top of a ROCK OUTDOORS I love it

good tutorial, one question about soft recording. How do you do it? lol

It’s hard to listen past the point where dude can pronounce “gimble” but for some reason no one thought to go back and RE-record audio for missing the word “record” brutally. But I did…until “soldered” ended up being murdered.

What if a raspberry pi was used in place of the arduino wouldn't be perfect?
Well a raspberry would be fine because it is a computer on its own?

Don't get me wrong.... in a good sense.. I can say that these type of embedded modules and their libraries are killing the talent of enthusiasts these days.. no one today cares about basic circuitary, processor interfacing, or coding today.. I remember when I was studying engineering, we use to design and make single board computers from scratch using atmel and picmicro CPUs on perf boards and even point to point wiring for some parts.. for coding, we first draws flow charts and design programs of our own.. vloggers these days must try more to include "from scratch" videos explaining basics of networks and components.. Mr. Carlson's Lab is an excellent channel in this respect..
