Fun fact for all you non-german-speaking Rammstein fans: the word "mein Teil" translates to "my part", which in the german language can also be said when talking about a penis. When Till sings "Ja das ist mein Teil" it means "yeaah this is my which has also to do with the Rotenburg cannibal that cut off the penis of his victim and then prepared it and they BOTH ate it. The song title is literally a reference to that.

Actually the "part" was indeed removed and cooked (he was a willing and avid participant), but Armand burnt it and they both deemed it inedible so he gave it to the dog. However, after he finished the job...he made a fancy rump roast as his first actual meal. This case was one that just really stuck with me. The world is a wild wild place.

Considering Rammstein has performed many controversial songs, cannibalism isn’t the worst, necrophilia, paedo, S&M, prostitution, you name it, they’ve sung about it. Doesn’t matter though, I still love them!
