Most lga 1700 mobo's do not even need a bios update because of the use of the same architecture as 13th gen... so, probably not even a bios update needed

No motherboards are future proof since intel will launch a new socket with 15th gen

it is not future proof. Next year it will be useless since it will not support a next gen processor. it is a nice current cool motherboard but also expensive and NOT FUTURE PROOF
