Really surprised you didn't include this fact! A school in Shreveport Louisiana named "Loyola College Prep" is the only school in the world that uses snoopy as the mascot. They got legal rights to do so. The rival school, Byrd, asked Shultz if Woodstock could be their mascot, he said no because Snoopy and Woodstock were friends, not rivals.

That last fact was awesome, lol. I love his sense of humor.

This Peanuts Movie was fantastic, I'd say it definitely did justice to the franchise! I'm really happy Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the rest of the gang are able to get introduced to a whole new generation!

I always thought it was funny that Linus, Sally, and Schroeder were introduced into the series as babies, while Charlie Brown and Lucy seemed at least six or seven years older than their younger siblings.  And yet for a vast majority of the series the "Peanuts" gang is roughly the same age with Linus and Sally being only slightly younger than their siblings.

The Peanuts movie was a really good movie. I would love to have many sequels in the future, perhaps with peppermint patty with a greater role for she is my favorite character.

I remember when Charlie Brown was trying to not think of baseball and would see them everywhere. But the fun part is when he finally got over it only to see something, or in this case someone, appearing instead. And who that was, was none other then Alfred E. Neuman. (what a cameo that was)

Facts #108
"Linus and Lucy" is a popular jazz piano composition written by Vince Guaraldi, appearing in many of the Peanuts animated television specials. Named for the fictional siblings Linus and Lucy van Pelt, it was released in 1964 on the Vince Guaraldi Trio's album Jazz Impressions of a Boy Named Charlie Brown. A Charlie Brown Christmas introduced the song to a television audience of millions of children beginning in 1965. Since that special, the song has introduced most of the Peanuts TV specials, with the exceptions of the specials and other TV programs produced between 1979 and 1992. It is one of the most recognizable pieces by Vince Guaraldi, and has gained status as the de facto theme song of the Peanuts franchise. Ironically, just about everyone would call this "the Charlie Brown song" even though it's actually titled after Linus and Lucy van Pelt, brother and sister in Charles M. Schulz's Peanuts comic strip universe. The Vince Guaraldi Trio frequently made music for animated Peanuts specials from there on out.
