Arshad warsi was actually not calling prahbas a joker, but more about the way his character was presented .he was expecting a more of a badass appearance of prahbas, but he was presented as a goofy guy.

Arshad never frames Prabhas as Joker. He criticised the film and role as Bhairava

Prabhas was trying to do Chris Pratt from Guardians of the Galaxy. I want to see Prabhas as an antagonist, he has so much potential when he doesn't have to over express his emotions on the screen.

That's why people don't give opinion nowadays like bro Arshad said abt the character Bhairava and not Prabhas and said he felt sad seeing Prabhas. But who can give explanation to South people who went to his cmt section to Diss. So tell me here, is Prabhas joker or is Arshad joker? Answer is none. Fans behave like joker manytimes. Remember how they beat a man who criticised Adipurush. I love South movie but their toxic Audience 😤😒

Arshad is somewhere right. He didnt call Prabhas a Joker but the characterisation of Bhairava. What he wanted to say is he expected Bhairava to be a more serious character but was reduced to being a joke. Prabhas could have nailed the character had it been in a serious vain. But the opportunity was lost.

Honestly, many Indian audiences aren't mature enough. They often ask for feedback, like 'What do you think about him, that, or the work?' But when someone gives an honest constructive feedback, then they quickly get offended, saying, 'How can you say that about our legend, movie, etc. Arshad's interview is perfect example. The host asked him for his opinion on the movie, and he simply shared his perspective. There's no need to be offended.

Arshad is right, worst part of Kalki is Prabhas. It's not against Prabhas personally, it's the way he is presented because when we watch Bahubali, he is just mind blowing. Something is off about him in this movie.

Satyajit Ray, who is without a doubt India's best film maker once said "India has an unsophisticated audience" and that statement rings true even now. The pathaans and jawans getting 1000 crores while maidaan flopping is indicative of this. More than that, this fan boy behaviour of people who can't realise that people are judging a performance from an actor, not the actor himself is indicative of that. Indian audience still can't seperate the art from the artist.

As a Telugu speaking guy, I enjoyed Kalki, but can't disagree that Prabhas's characterisation was very weak and the most poorly written one, used just to generate comedy, which turned out to be so flat. Even without his character, there wouldn't have been any drastic effect on the story. For me, it was wholly Amitabh sir's show.

I genuinely felt Prabhas has lost his energy while acting since Radhe Shyaam. Even in Salaar & Kalki, he looked a bit tired & fed on screen when compared to the Bahubali Series.

If it was said by a South Indian Actor to a Bollywood actor, Everyone would agree on him/her 🙂

When prabhas was revealed as the reincarnation of warrior Karna in climax it totally killed it's character. He should have been portrayed as ruthless and violent warrior from the beginning. But he was romancing with disha and had weak comedic humour.

When Jammy puts Kangana, SRK and Salman in the same video, you know it’s gonna be fun

Geniunely recommending everyone the Arshad Warsi interview on 'Unfiltered with Samdish'. Such an wholesome guy to sit with and talk with, man. Great human being. His chemistry with Samdish throughout the interview was so good to see. Super fun interview. Everyone should check out. 💚

It is profoundly sad to realise that we as audience absolutely lack objectivity when analysing a performance or a movie. The unnecessary outrage about the Prabhas issue is not only representative of the missing temperament but also extremely unhelpful for changing and challenging narratives.

100% agree with Prashant Narayanan's take

In fact, Prashant is the only one eligible enough to have this opinion. Him playing the lunatic serial killer in Murder 2 shook me to the core. Literally had eery vibes whenever his character appeared on the screen.
