Premiere Pro CS6 Techniques: 32 Audio Transitions

Hi Andrew, I just started learning Premiere Pro -- all totally new to me -- and I can't say how valuable your videos are to me. They are so thorough and any question I've had so far, I've been able to find the answer to it in your videos. What, actually is the difference? If I try all three as cross fades, in and out fades, they all sound the same!

nice vid, thanks.  Do you know how to fade sound but not all the way to zero?  Sometimes i want sound to continue playing in the backround during an interview but want it at a lower volume and i want to it fade smoothly when the person starts speaking and then increase to a higher volume again when the person stops talking.

i have about 40 video clips that i need to blend together. when i add the cross dissolve, you see something weird. it's not blended. when i do nothing. it looks like it jumps to the next clip and when i put the clip on top of it, it looks like it just jumps faster. That's one problem- joining clips from the same person. Next issue is when i need to join clips from other people. I don't want to fade in/out b/c you lose seconds from the clip but i need a fade out method per say b/c otherwise, you see someone ending in mid sentence and w/o something to end it...it looks like i cut the clip too fast.

Anyone know how to help me with these 3 issues? thanks
