Elder Scrolls VI - Where Could It Be?

Elder Scrolls VI has three likely locations: Hammerfell, High Rock and Orsinium, but which will it be? It is now 2024 and information has been released through many easter eggs in Bethesda's other projects (such as starfield), so in today's video I explain which location is most likely for ethesda's next elder scrolls 6 game and why I believe it will not be one location but multiple locations for the elder scrolls VI.

The Elder Scrolls VI (working title) is an upcoming action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It will be the sixth main installment in The Elder Scrolls series, following 2011's The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The game is scheduled to be released for Windows and Xbox consoles.

The project is led by game director Todd Howard, reprising his duties from previous games in the series, as well as other games developed by Bethesda Game Studios. The Elder Scrolls VI will be the second game developed on the studio's in-house engine, Creation Engine 2, following Starfield (2023). The game entered pre-production by 2018, formally being announced during Bethesda's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2018 conference. The game entered active production in 2023 following Starfield's completion and launch.

Listening to speculation about Bethesda games always sucks because everyone comes up with way cooler ideas than anything Bethesda would ever actually implement

With high rocks evidence youre missing out on the evidence of Todd saying he wants the elder scrolls 6 to be the "ultimate medieval fantasy simulator" an ultimate medieval fantasy would require high rock.

There will be no war, because Bethesda.
We'll hear a bunch of NPC's comment in the streets about how crazy 'The Second Great War' was. And that's about it.
High Rock and Hammerfel would be my hopes for the setting.

Hammerfell would be the central location. The Second Great War will be fought in Hammerfell. The Empire and the Aldmeri Dominion will fight their greatest battles here, with the Redguards caught in the middle. High Rock and Orsinium would be nice treats

I definitely keep my hopes low which hurt because the elder scroll franchise is special to me.

If it's in high rock hopefully they take alot Celtic inspirations for some tribes or groups within Hammerfell instead just French Knights.

Todd said it would be set in Tamriel. So maybe he means THE WHOLE OF TAMRIEL...

Nice vide, George. I hope you tell Editor George I love the use of Oblivion music. 😎

Honestly the music in the announcement trailer definitely hits me with that High Rock atmosphere, it has the feel of that old Breton slogan "Find a new hill, become a king." Also the music and landscape shown in the announcement trailers would fit well with that questing and chivalric culture the bretons have. That said I dont dismiss Orsinium nor Hammerfell as options.

They honestly should be workin on the next three Elder Scrolls games at once.

I expect the whole of Tamerial landmass - If Todd can generate 1000 planets we can get 8 regions packed with lore and immersions.

I hope for high rock more than hammerfell, but if it’s both I’m cool with that.

I think it being set in either hamerfell or high rock but also adding orsinium could add for a cool story? We could choose to help the orcs so they can have their own province or side with the bretons/redguards and defend the land of wrothgar

One reason why I think it’d be based in High Rock is because of the Adamantium Tower. I could also see it in Hammerfell for incursion reasons, but the Concordat still stands; unless the Stormcloaks win Skyrim, then that will send the Elves forward to wipe Cyrodiil, and attempt to conquer Hammerfell.

We'd have practically every ecosystem type in the game, with the deserts, jungles, and tropical zones of Hammerfell; and then the mountains, forests, swamps, wastelands, and snowy areas of High Rock! We'd have many different types of dungeons rather than the same 3 types in Skyrim, with Alessian ruins in High Rock, Yokudan ruins of Hammerfell, there'd still be Nordic / Nede ruins from when they expanded to Hammerfell before the Yokudans arrived, and they BOTH contain Ayleid and Dwemer Ruins! And let's not forget about the Western Reach, the other half of Forsworn territory!

oh God the idea that would be orsinium sounds cool but then I think that Bethesda will turn it into a "camp building" area.

They would have to use procedural generation. That's the ONLY way they could do two provinces without butchering both.

I have only played Skyrim but it was amazing 10/10 for me and with the recent Starfield release im afraid abt ES6 that it may lack a lot of atmosphere and character not just the environment but the entire rpg system and stuff like that u know.Hope im wrong

I think you you underestimate how big Hammerfell is. Based un the map it definitely seems just as big as Skyrim if not q bit bigger

It'd be weird too staring out from sentinel across the channel to highrock and not be able to visit it. Would be cool!
