How to use BM3 Anti lag! (Bootmod3)

I just tuned my 2019 m4, new to this. So ride at around 3500rpm, hold cruise button up on first click, press gas all the way and let go the button when ready to launch?

When I do it and press the gas pedal, the car just accelerates like normal it doesn't build up boost

What does antilag do? Does it downshift?

Hey fam is there like a rule of thumb of how long to hold the antilag feature for? Seems to me like you only hold it for 1-2 seconds when your rpm was around 3.5k and released the antilag at 4k. Just wondering cause I don't wanna stress my car out too much and risk damaging anything.
