The lightweight compressor and cast stainless turbine housings make for a tight package that delivers more power. This means less weight, more compact manifold design and better response overall.
Other unique features are the dual oil seals on both ends and the dynamic preload ceramic ball bearings that make the turbine more readily spin that other standard BB turbos. The combo water jacket and oil-cooled design ensure a completely stable thermal operation and the oil inlet is protected with a screen filter to prevent motor failure propagation in case things go south.
