I was a cop like this and was underappreciated for it, so I appreciate this attitude and love the outlook. If I wasn't so damn old, I'd love to work for sheriff Lamb. Instead I work for a company that supports y'all all over the country.

Brought tears to my eyes. My uncle died of alcoholism. Giving this guy that break and reinforcing his good behavior with leniency probably went a long way in keeping this guy on track. They need all the help and support they can get.

The thing is, Frank is just doing his job. He doesn’t give warnings too often, but his job isn’t to give everyone warnings, it’s to hold people accountable. This warning, shows he is a great officer, and is as personable as they get.

I was badly speeding in a company vehicle. driving like an asshole. Cop pulled me over gave me a warning because he said I was polite. That was the last time I ever sped. Lesson learned.

Man. Good for the dude who got sober. It's important to take that look at yourself and do what needs doing.

When I was 16 I was driving like an asshole down the highway late at night and got lit up. It was my first real ticket and I panicked…I knew there was no GOOD stopping point on the right for a few miles so my bright idea was to make a U turn into the Exxon across the highway.

Reasonably, they assumed I was going to run. I guess they were having a party down the road because I reach the parking lot with three deputies and a trooper surrounding me. Absolutely terrified, my passenger whispered “I just peer a little sorry”, and then they come up aggressively, again, reasonable under the circumstances, and find 16 year old me shaking and going OH MY GOD IM SO SORRY OH MY GOD IM SO SORRY.

They pulled us out, checked us out, had a talk, then absolutely roasted me. It’s the only time I’ve ever cried being pulled over. But props, they found the humor in the situation and it helped calm me down. Did make my parents come get us though and that was FAR scarier than the LEO.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but frank lost his brother to drugs and/or alcohol right? This probably hit very close to home for him
