Hummingbird feeder stuff!
1. If you don't get any try a hanging system for the feeder! They sell these sort of hooks you can stick in the ground that are for bird feeders of any kind!
2. Make sure to wash out the feeder often enough! I think every other day would be fine. A little tiny bit of dish soap and make sure it's well washed out so they don't eat soap!
3. You can make your own hummingbird juice! I'd look up what's recommended, but my dad puts a good number of spoonfuls of sugar in water and mix it. MAKE SURE YOU ONLY USE PLAIN WHITE SUGAR.. raw cane sugar will not be good for them!!
4. NEVER use honey, it's a total killer for these birds... Honey can give them a fungal infection that affects their tongue, making it so it inflames and they can no longer eat and starve to death. I don't think there's a cure for this, or at least not a cure that's fast acting enough that the bird will not starve to death!
I'm not 100% on all this so maybe some simple research would be good to fact check, but this is what I've read abt them and my experience w/ hummingbird feeders
