Patiala (Punjab), April 30 (ANI): A day after a clash erupted in Patiala, Punjab Police arrested as many as three accused on April 30. Senior Superintendent of Police Deepak Pareek, while talking to ANI, informed that the curfew in the city has been lifted. “3 accused arrested. As more video evidence and statements come in, we nominate more accused; their numbers will rise. We have identified around 24 accused by this evening and special teams formed to arrest them. Every accused will be arrested,” he said. SSP Deepak further said, “Curfew has been lifted, and internet services have been restored. There is confidence among people. Peace Keeping Committee's meeting was held. Everybody wants peace.” (KP)
