This was the speech that naruto realized the world doesn’t revolve around him. This speech had me questioning everything when it comes to good and evil. No one is born good or evil. It’s life that forms us and each action 1 takes will absolutely effect another.

Pain's tone when he says, "Oh, I see..." at 1:11 sounds so much like a parent entertaining a childs trantrum. I just can't unhear it XD

One person's justice is another's ruin. Peace can be had with looking at the conflict. Thinking of why and listening to the other. No one dies in a vacuum, in that no one that dies or is killed, does so without any connection to someone else. Someone will lose a father, mother, sister or brother, friends and other loved ones. That will cause a pain and fury and a desire to lash out against the one responsible or perceived to be responsible.

People who wonder why so many others loved Naruto but they could not see it. All they can see is the fighting that they settle for and tend to miss the underlying message that the show puts in plain sight. The Pain Arc did a great job showing us why the shinobi world was perpetually at war throughout its generations and what it would take to finally put an end to all the suffering and pain.
“We are but men, drawn to act in the name of Vengeance we deem to be "Justice". But when we call our vengeance "justice", it only breeds more vengeance... forging the first link in the chains of hatred.”

What an amazing show. So much more then just another anime, at times it really transcended simple storytelling and oftentimes broke the barriers of conventional anime.

Take the real world how much pain and suffering do others make just to seek out peace and justice how much hate do we give each other an endless cycle .
I truly love this show

Code Geass is the only anime I know that breaks the cycle of hatred. Knowing this speech puts the right perspective on Lelouch's decision.

Absolutely love Pain’s character he’s more of an antagonist than a villain he’s seen so much suffering and hatred in his long life in the ninja world. Reminds me of one of my antagonists in my fictional stories this character in my own story is so complex and has his own goals to vanquish the world of evil and hatred. I think Naruto is excellent in what makes a person good or evil it’s just brilliant storytelling

Man, I love Naruto so much. It really did teach me to keep going no matter what, and I know quite a few people say it, but it’s true. This was the first anime I ever watched after Pokémon, and it’s one of the only ones that has painfully long arcs but has kept me hooked through and through. It had so many exciting ups and downs and It will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for this masterpiece, Mr. Kishimoto.
