Prairie View A&M student shot to death while trying to help friend in fight with boyfriend

A Prairie View A&M University student is dead after police said she was shot while trying to help her friend through a fight with her boyfriend early Thursday morning.

This is why if u are going to confront/argue or help a friend with anything stay strapped up or stay out of it. People never learned self control/how to communicate properly so now when someone says or does something they don't like they resort to violence. Very sad/pathetic! 🙄

RIP to the wonderful girl who was killed. Who wouldn’t want a friend like her?! Unfortunately her friend brought her trouble and danger to her doorstep, thus the friendship wasn’t mutual. Her friend should’ve considered the danger and gone to the police instead.

OMG, my great niece goes to Prairie View A&M 😮Thank God she lives on campus. I'm so saddened to hear about this senseless killing of a young lady losing her life, trying to help her friend😢 A honor roll student life gone😢 praying for her family and friends.

Hey, you party hosts! How about you have your guests check their weapons at the door. For real! Don't let anyone in your crib with they piece on them. Designate a weapons place not easily accessible if(and you know they will) things get heated. Like, inside the closet, usually located by the front door. Or in the bedroom closet. Some closets even have locks on the handle that the host could use to control access. Doing this provides several opportunities to avoid gunfire and defusing, and a literal way to get out of the you're one of these people who HOPES there's drama and you get killed, maimed or at least a good story you get to tell 1, 000, 000 people about over the course of your lifetime.
