I’m actually colorblind and these glasses don’t work like that. They can slightly help differentiate colors but they don’t make you see new colors. That’s impossible. The lenses have filters that boost one color and desaturate another. For example I got the glasses for red green color blindness and it’s pretty much just a red lense that makes everything that’s red stand out more.

Yes this has all been disproven. on their site it even says to wear the for 30 minutes to allow adjustment. you can use glasses to fix what doesnt work/exist inside the eye

They probably don't see the exact same, certain color bands are kind of suppressed, and so only some other are being let trough, the ones your eyes/brains understand, so often the peaks, brighter colors go through, so they might see a slightly brighter more colorful version of what we see, but that is still MUCH better than seeing a muddy grey/brown mess some people see.

Before me and my ex split I wanted to get her father a pair of these. He didn’t really approve of me in the beginning thinking I was a “hit it and quit it” type of guy, but three and a half years later and I was beyond loyal and made his daughter happy for most of our time together. I think as each year passed he gained more respect for me. I wish there weren’t so many variables with potential affects on relationships. A person like her will always have a place in my soul despite how things ended. I hope he gets those glasses one day.
