Brother, this video actually just saved me $30. I called and immediately switched my order to the ND without the CPL. Thank you, and have a fruitful journey.

so from what i've found online, cpl generally has vignetting for ultra wide focal lengths. so it shouldn't be a problem for 24mm and up.

So great to get a review by a cinematographer, and not just someone who shoots video. Thank you.
Clicking your Amazon link so hopefully you get a little kickback. Thanks Eric.

Man...I watched a tons of vnd filters videos and only you did really good real life review. I was really lost but know I'll give a try for k&f. Great video, Thank you a lot!!

A wonderfully clear explanation of the difference.
Looks like the version with the cpl would be a real pain when running and gunning.
This was very helpful. Thank you.

This assessment is very practical, unlike other assessments that open a box and then a bunch of nonsense. I am looking forward to your evaluation of N8-128.

Thanks for this video, I didn't know how to adjust the CPL.

The ND+CPL sounds like a great idea HOWEVER sometimes in low light you want the ND clean off because even at its lowest setting it's an ND2 which is 2 stops of light. So if you need CPL without ND you still need a 'separate' CPL. 🤦‍♀️

9:12 that is ideal filter combination for a horror movie. I wish I have had seen this before buying it.

Wow, such an awesome comparison. Thank you for saving me money. I'm going for the variable ND only over the ND+CPL version.

All var ND filter have 1 linear and 1 circular polar filters. The difference is that mostly you cannot turn the whole filter itself.

Thanks for this comparison! Im right before to order one and my choice at first was the variable ND Filter with CPL but the vignetting is horrible. The other filter is way much better.

I was just watching this well for obvious reasons and stop the video at 11:40 to buy the ND and not the ND and polarized as I was going to do. Thanks 🙏🏼

I was about to go through a major hassle to return my promaster variable nd for the K&F one as I also heard there is no X or vignetting. You video clearly proved it's got the same problem as any other variable nd
