How to fix checksum error, archive is corrupt error while extracting files

Yeah it extracted... but then you try to install it and it doesnt work because the ISO has a CRC problem

It was actually a hardware related issue for me. My ram was kinda damaged. It can also happen if you have a faulty storage device(hard drive, ssd etc), (just to let others know)

you can extract a zip with 7zip but it wont change anything because the file is still corrupted

By using 7zip, the file *will* appear in your folder. However, you will not be able to properly open the file. It is still corrupt.

i got this error because there is bad sectors on my external hard drive already. bad sectors destroy the file itself. so yea. good luck guys. redownload the file instead
