This largely forgotten band was really big in their day....another 'forgotten' band from a little later (early '70's) is Ozark Mountain Daredevils, whose big hit was _Jackie Blue._

The first picture of Quicksilver is the original band circa 1966-67. This song is from 1971. Several personnel changes and a very different sound. The original Quicksilver was much more guitar oriented. Piano credited to Mark Naftalin but it sure sounds like something Nicky Hopkins would have done.

After Nicky Hopkins left Quicksilver he went on to be the Rolling Stones keyboard player for a number of years
