I have Extreme Story and I can't tell much difference with my sample of Sauvage other than I get 3x the longevity with the Dior. But again, I'm no expert at detecting specific notes in a fragrance. Thus, I'm happy with the $15 spent on the cheapie and decided to not buy a full bottle of the Sauvage. To me, the minor differences is not worth the additional cost.

La Rive is a Polish brand. Packages are made in Poland, but perfumes are made in France, which is why it writes on the box mae in France

I don't mind Clones, but I think I'll drop another ten and go with Armaf. More projection and longevity.

I buy "Lacoste Red" since many years, but i was blown away by how well cloned the "La Rive -Redline" is, so i bought it and tested its performance which is a little less and lasted around 5-6 hrs opposed to the original Lacoste which will last well into 10hrs+. but for this price its still a really good bargain!

I been using ventana . That to me is the best dior sauvage clone . It lasts a lil bit longer and its .8% stronger . I only paid 24$ at armaf store

What's your thoughts on the Belcam brands at Walmart. I get great compliments at work when wearing them. I save money on my higher quality colognes that way

i have 2 of la rive perfumes "la rive ironstone for man, la rive black creek" don't get me wrong they're nice but they just disappear after 30 minutes and don't last at all even if i put lotion or vaseline before so just invest in some quality colognes instead of dupes

When you metion acqua di gio... I have the original and I happen to like la rive's far more than the original itself. It doesn't bring that egg like smell the original does right after you spray it and La rive seems to bring an update to the original fragrance turning it into a more contemporary version of the armani's. I simply retired the original after getting to know this la rive accidentally fantastic attempt. Its only sin is its short fixation.

Thanks for doing this. I was considering Extreme Story but I think I'll pass. I do have one of their clones which is Athletic Man and it is a spot on copy of vintage Adidas Active Bodies from 1990. Much better than the current version from Adidas. It's been my gym frag for a few months now and performs rather well in that capacity! I may give the Hitfire a shot to save some cash and juice from my vintage Fahrenheit.

Here in Bulgaria there's a fragrance house that specializes in cloning popular fragrances and I tried the Dior Sauvage clone called Yodeyma Carribean and it smells 90% the same (while costing $20), differences being that the bergamot is slightly more present than the peppers. The clone is also an EDP concentration and lasted longer (12+ hours) than my Dior Sauvage lol

Ive been watching your videos a lot recently while searching for a new fragrance. Came across Larive today at a store here in Germany and thought I'd search to see if you've done a video on them and sure enough, you did.
I picked up the Extreme Story and Black Creek which is their Creed Aventus clone. I had just come from a fragrance shop where I tried actual Sauvage. Personally, I can't tell much of a difference, but I've nowhere near the talent for this that you have.
Unfortunately the fragrance store I was at didn't have Creed, so even though I REALLY like the Black Creek, I can't compare it to Aventus as I've never experienced it.

Extreme story is mostly orange , geranium, and pepper it's very smooth and more wearable than sauvage, I don't think it smelt much like sauvage. Milton lloyd colour me volt is the best sauvage clone I've tried.

Those La Rive fragrances are 7 Euros in Austria. And that's the regular price. I prefer niche fragrances in general, but I think I'll get a few just as a daily driver for the office for when I don't want to smother my coworkers in Black Afgano.

Just got from Kaufland supermarket Brave Man La Rive.. at first was thinking it's smell like Nautica Voyage.. but it's more close on Invictus.. decent parfum.. nice to have it on the car just in case.. 😂 I've pay around 8-9 dollars transform to currency from my country which is RON 🇷🇴 Romania 🥂

I am glad to see you looked at different La Rives than the previous MaxAroma La Rive reviewers did. Brave intrigued me a little bit and it smelt alright when I tested it in a store. I don't get why La Rive cloned Cuba Gold and charges more. HitFire is actually REALLY good smelling on a strip with the hit of violet and some petrol. Of all the ones I've heard of, I think HitFire is the one I want to actually get. Especially since I broke up with my ex who didn't like Fahrenheit or Gucci Guilty Absolute.
