Όρος Πατέρας: Φτάνοντας στην κορυφή

Αποφασίσαμε να κάνουμε μια εξόρμηση στο Όρος Πατέρας ή Άγχαιον όρος όπως το αποκαλούσαν οι αρχαίοι και ανάβαση στην κορυφή "Λεοντάρι". Ένα παρεξηγημένο βουνό αφού θεωρείται λιγότερο δημοφιλές από τα υπόλοιπα βουνά της Αττικής. Παρόλα αυτά αποτελεί ένα όμορφο οικοσύστημα που η πυρκαγιά του 1985 το πλήγωσε βαριά αλλά δεν κατάφερε να το εξαφανίσει. Φιλοξενεί πολλά πεζοπορικά μονοπάτια με αξιόλογο ενδιαφέρον. Έχει διάφορα επίπεδα δυσκολίας αλλά γενικά το ανάγλυφό του είναι δυσανάγνωστο, με πολλές κλειστές κοιλάδες και μεγάλες ορθοπλαγιές. Πραγματικά χαρήκαμε την ανάβαση και απολαύσαμε την υπέροχη θέα από ψηλά. Αυτό το βουνό μας χάρισε μια υπέροχη μέρα στην αγκαλιά του!!!

We decided to make a trip to Mount Pateras or Mount Aghaion as the ancients called it. A misunderstood mountain since it is considered less popular than the other mountains of Attica. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful ecosystem that was badly damaged by the fire of 1985 but did not manage to eradicate it. It hosts many hiking trails of remarkable interest. It has different levels of difficulty but generally its relief is illegible, with many closed valleys and large slopes. We really enjoyed the climb and enjoyed the wonderful view from above. This mountain gave us a wonderful day in its arms !!!
