The Ibanez RG is my favorite guitar of all time, but I haven't been super stoked on their new guitars since they released the Genesis series.

The Ibanez Wizard neck just is an amazing feel and fits me like a glove.. Have an older RG model and I always loved their body and headstock shape as well.. Some of the older Iron Label iterations looked amazing, still looking to buy me a RGAIX6FM if I would have the chance to.. This year it's a sharp modern death axe, not too bad, and it's nice they do change it up every once in a while.

The S model is popular bc it’s so damn comfortable; the only reason I don’t own own for myself is bc they don’t make one to my spec preferences.

Ray...there’s a brand called FGN that flies under the radar...the guitars are made by the same guys, in the same factory (so they say) as the prestige Ibanez...I bought an FGN “super” tele style for 600 bucks shipped...it’s an insanely good guitar...I can’t say enough good things about it...looking to get a strat style in a couple of months...rock on bro!!!!

I love Ibanez gear. For metal, it's hard to go wrong. Their budget gear is perfect for capturing the 80's sound, since it's pretty much the same tech as that era.

Ibanez, Iike Schecter, makes shred guitars, but also makes rock guitars, single cuts, and jazz guitars, like hollow bodies. Their history includes being one of the primary "lawsuit era" companies, making competitive quality Les Paul "copies" during the 70's.

I got my first Ibanez this year and I’m definitely hooked. I got the axion label in blue chameleon color changing color. It has fishman moderns and I love the sound. I traded a charvel Gojira signature for it at guitar center. I don’t play leads, I just feel like the Ibanez is so easy to chug and play power chords on. Happy new year to everyone!

Just like Schecter and esp, Ibanez does the same with all their models, they have guitars for everyone. I tell people, u don’t know, until u play one. Especially a prestige. You being a dad guitar kinda guy you’d like the AZ series guitars. Just try one sometime man, if you like your keisel, you’d have no prob with Ibanez

I’m getting more and more underwhelmed by Ibanez every year. But what the hell, I don’t need anything new anyways. I still enjoy some of their older models as if they’re brand new.

Ibanez has really stepped it up the last few years. I think as a Super strat guy, you'd love the AZ 2402..Pricey, but made in Japan and is phenomenal. It plays like butter bro. The SD Hyperion pups are versatile as hell.

6:00 ray you are correct, its a floydrose but its a floyd from ibanez. it is a licensed floydrose that many ibanez guitars use, ibanez only uses their own bridges like the lo-pro, edge zero and so on

hey man, great look at the new lineup!
The thing that got most people excited is Ibanez FINALLY started bringing out new, higher end, neck through guitars.
the all black one you looked at really is a bit of a higher end/spec ibanez grgr131ex from last year ( the cheaper gio series i bought and modded) but those fusion edge pickups really don't do it for me.
appearently it's a pickup you can only get allready installed in ibanez guitars and it's a love it or hate it kind of deal :)
