So today we learned that sometimes it's worth it to just go out there and buy the right tool for the job. Good news is, I'm sure this bearing/bushing sleeve kit will see plenty more usage in the coming months. Let me know what you thought of this tool!

it's best to use antiseize on the threads to help prevent the threads from damaging from the torque

I’ve got the same kit, the thread on the nut was striped. On the first use and the bush did not budge

Usually you want to grease those threads prior to use.

If I were installing OEM bushings, I would need to use the same remove tool to install the bushings?

The front wheel bearings on e39 are bolt on

Ummm so can this be done with the subframe still mounted ? Not really trying to drop this out

What's your opinion on this tool being enough to replace the rear sub-frame bushings? Would it be an adequate substitute for the Koch tool you rented in the prior video?
'02 525iT and wanting to do full power flex bushings under the car as I've already transitioned to poly motor mounts.

also i wouldnt recommend poly bushings, unless with very high hardness, they usually dont hold up...

This tool does not allow to use impact wrench. Very poor quality of the thread.
