they made me understand that i wasn’t made to listen to pop and trap.
and i know, there are influences of both genres in their music, but they just make them amazing.

this isn’t a song. this is spoken poetry.
this is a whole story, reassumed in six minutes.

tyler, also i am writing a journal.
and i’m going through the same things, constantly asking myself the same questions you used to ask yourself.

may i be able to do it? am i talented enough?

i feel so gone that music looks like the only thing i can do in life.

and i want to do rock. not pop or trap. i know what i want to do and i know who i want to do that with and i couldn’t be more proud of my choices.

Oh my god this is so beautiful, and now I finally get what the song really is about and why it became so powerful. Music is everything ty Tyler, and this is the song that decided that he was going to hold on to it. Especially the second verse is the definition of art.
