Me and my daughter located in Perth Western Australia (she’s 23 her name is Jess too, the most amazing daughter) love country music, we both love finding artists we haven’t heard before (a competition). I think she's American lady when I first listen her song in my car but she's a Canadian, what a beautiful voice and she's beautiful too, proud to be Canadian.

Jess may I call you Jess?  Another great song, it's been way to long since we last heard from ya.  Hope this is a beginning of a nu album, just love your voice.  I sit here listening to your all your other albums drinking cheap wine (Ripple's Pagan Pink sometimes Thunderbird) and smoking cigarettes (they r so cheap I roll my own).

This song hits in a couple different ways, both grateful and sad.

I was in a relationship that felt kinda like this and it killed a parts of me every time we got back together only to break up again. Those were some dark days. The highs and lows were crushing and she was like a drug.

I thought I could fix her or she would get better “this time”. Truth is we were both hurting even though we both loved so much. If there was ever a horrible relationship for me that was it. I had finally endured enough pain and after 3.5 long painful years (with 4 breakups) I finally moved on. I started to respect myself again and now I’m with the most incredible woman. The love of my life.

For all you felling stuck and doing the on again off again relationship thing. End it and move on. You will be glad you did. It may take a couple of months or years but you already know it’s over. Move on. You will be glad you did.
